Things are not gonna be the same after COVID-19. Where you go, whom you meet, everything is gonna change.

Travel and tourism sector was an $8 trillion worth industry last year. But today, nobody is travelling and people working in this sector are jobless.

What’s gonna happen post-COVID-19?

1. Virtual Working

All IT and software companies have adopted a remote working culture. After COVD-19, it is expected that 20% of companies may settle with remote working and have 5-10% of employees coming to the office.

2. E-learning

You can see your lecturer, his screen, his board to learn things. Online learning is booming like anything and already Udemy, Byju’s. Etc are making millions.

So many abroad universities are offering courses to help students learn during the lockdown. Admissions are happening virtually, thanks to ZOOM.

3. The struggle of automobiles & airlines

People travelling from state to state, country to country will reduce for sure. This directly affects the airline industry that relies on passenger travelling revenue.

Fewer people movement means fewer vehicles. Automobile industry needs to come up with innovative ways of marketing to encourage people to travel.

4. In-home entertainment

With people being restricted to the home, they are finding ways to kill the time. The in-home entertainment industry is booming with the rise of Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.

After COVID 19, we may not be able to see more physical events happening. Even if they happen, there won’t be people swarming the gallery.

The global economy is down and many people have already lost their jobs. With everyone travelling less, the oil price will reduce drastically. The hiring process is gonna change and a new era is born.
