The corona pandemic has affected the economy and many industries. The primary sector affected is the education industry. According to a survey recently conducted, 91% of Indian students are still interested in continuing their studies abroad.

Few highlights from the survey:

  • 75% of the students were for the master's program, while the remaining 25% of students applied for their undergraduate studies. 

  • 76% of the students planned to pursue their education this September or January intake.

  • 16% of students have yet to decide whether they would like to continue this year and plan to decide by summer.

  • The students are confident with the University's choice of continuing classes for this semester, and universities are trying to adapt to distance classes for students who cannot attend classes physically. 

  •  These precautions and measures for the safety and security of the students are the main points for the student's confidence to study abroad as planned.

  • Along with the information regarding student's plans to explore this year abroad, many students have considered the UK as the most preferred destination for education. The remaining students have opted for the US, Australia, Germany, and France.

Many universities have also extended their admission deadlines to the end of the summer. They also have waived the need for English proficiency exams and other exams. 

To keep the students with the utmost safety, universities have 24x7 online support centers. In case students need help and any support, they are always present.
