Worried, if the Global pandemic COVID-19 will affect your education abroad?

Online exams for students due to coronavirus

Afraid, if coronavirus will subside by the time you have to attend University. Don’t lose hope or be stressed; Universities usually prepare to handle uncertainties.

Right now, many Universities are using online learning tools to stay in touch with their students and continue their classes. If you are back home from your University, enjoy this time with your parents, get pampered with delicious home-cooked meals and free laundry service. While you enjoy these benefits, try to advance your skills as well because later, when you graduate, the job market is going to be more competitive than before. Keep in touch with your previous internship mentors, ask about their health, and remind them that you will be graduating this year.

Planning to study abroad, spend this precious time training and studying for your competitive exams. Participate in and attend online courses to add value to your CV. Don’t waste your time as you have the opportunity to work on skills and prepare your application. With these few months being at home, utilize it to the fullest. Prepare your timeline, so that you are prepared to take your competitive exam like GRE/GMAT when the centers are open. Along with this, prepare your statement of purpose, as this is a critical part of your application process.

While students have applied and who are planning for this fall, admissions are still open, and applications are processed. Due to COVID-19, the exams like IELTS/GRE/GMAT are not taking place, so colleges are wavering the scores of these tests. Also, the deadline extended to make it easier for students to apply in ease. To promote enrollment for fall 2020, Universities are also reducing the fee structures and providing more scholarships. While universities are taking such measures, they would also like to highlight that the admission decisions due to the pandemic would not become lenient, and the students still have to meet university requirements.

As for students that have enrolled to attend University this fall, it is up to you if you want to continue this year or would like to deviate from your plan of attending college. We advise that there is nothing to worry about as Universities take a lot of precaution and safety measures for their students and staff. In case things don’t settle down, the program may start a bit later than planned, and the University may work during Thanksgiving and WInter break to compensate. Otherwise, few Universities plan to start as scheduled for the beginning of September through online sessions and virtual learning.

There is always a door at the end of the tunnel, so be positive and motivated. Be happy that you are safe and secure, and your only worry is about your future education. Live in the moment and be there to tell the tale how this time helped in framing your future!
