Tuition Fees The tuition fee for a master’s program from an Australian University would cost an international student approximately AUD 35,000 for one year. For an engineering course in Australia, the average cost for a year will be the same. For more technical courses like an MBA from any of the top 5 universities of Australia including the University of Melbourne or the University of Sydney would cost around AUD 55,000. Healthcare Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a special health insurance coverage for international students in Australia. It covers the cost of medical and hospital care while you are living in Australia. However, you need to purchase the insurance before you set out for Australia from the country. Students from Belgium, Sweden and Norway are not required to purchase the OSHC. Currently, there are 5 insurers who offer the OSHC insurance-

  • Food- AUD 80 to AUD 250 per week

  • Phone and internet-  AUD 20 to AUD 55 per week

  • Gas and electricity- AUD 35 to AUD 150 per week

  • Public transport- AUD 15 to AUD 50 per week

  • Entertainment- AUD 25 to AUD 200 per week
